Social media influencer Andrew Tait can leave Romania, a court in the Romanian capital ruled on Friday, but must remain in the European Union while he awaits trial on human trafficking and rape charges in Bucharest, according to one of his lawyers.
Mr Tate and his brother Tristan Tate Has been dealing with allegations Romanian prosecutors filed charges in a June 2022 indictment, accusing them and two Romanian women of forming an organized crime group and trafficking women in Romania, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Eugen Vidineac, one of Tate’s lawyers in Romania, said in an interview on Friday that the courts were gradually loosening their grip on the Tate brothers.
“It was a good decision,” he said. “It will get easier as time goes on.”
Vidinak said the judge was assessing whether the prosecution was legal, adding that a date for the next hearing had not yet been set.
